Vivid | Original Abstract Painting

Color doesn't always arrive in clean lines. Sometimes it blooms, bleeds, and finds its own way.

Vivid is a luminous abstract painting that looks like color dissolving into water. Thin, translucent washes of paint spread across a pale canvas and blur into one another, with hot pink and coral glowing along the left and right edges. A hazy gold-green drifts through the center, and cool blues and teal pool near the bottom. Soft purple, violet, and smoky olive-gray settle into the quieter passages, so the surface keeps shifting between warm and cool. In the upper right, the canvas catches the light with a faint pearly sheen.

Scattered across it all are small, jewel-bright dots of orange, scarlet, cobalt, and magenta. Some are crisp and glossy, and others are soft-edged and half-absorbed. They drift like cells under a microscope, bubbles rising through water, or lanterns glowing in the evening haze. Near the left edge, a cluster of orange and crimson dots gathers into a small constellation. At lower right, a single vivid blue spot glows against the green.

The painting is quiet and lively at once. The washes are soft, but the dots are bright, and your eye keeps moving between them, searching for a place to rest. It is a painting for a room that wants a little warmth and a little wonder.

At 20" × 24", it fits comfortably over a console, a bed, or a desk, and its warm palette brightens the wall without taking over.

For collectors who love color that feels alive.
