In Abstract Intrigue, that line is bold, sweeping, and unmistakable. A curving stroke of deep black arcs across the canvas with quiet authority, dividing the painting into two distinct worlds while holding them in conversation with one another. It is the spine of the entire composition — the decision everything else was built around.

To the left, deep cobalt blue fills the canvas with depth and gravity, its surface alive with subtle texture and scattered white marks that catch the eye like light on water. White squares and rectangles drift across the blue field with an unhurried, geometric calm — some crisp, some soft at the edges, all of them placed with intention. A small yellow circle anchors the lower left corner, a single warm punctuation mark in an otherwise cool expanse.

To the right of the dividing line, the painting opens up entirely.
